What’s Included
An initial advisory focuses on one role or closely related job family and includes:
- Review of your current hiring and performance evaluation procedures and key materials
- Two 90-minute consultation sessions
- Research and preparation needed to support the review
- Evidence-based recommendations and prioritized next steps
What We Review
The specific materials will depend on your current process. They commonly include the job description, interview questions or guides and related scoring procedures, information about assessments or other selection tools currently in use, and formal performance evaluation forms and scoring procedures.
After you get started, we’ll coordinate a simple way for you to share the key materials needed for the review, typically through a file-sharing service such as Google Drive. Sift HR reviews them before we meet so that our consultation time can focus on the most important feedback and recommendations, while also working through questions, opportunities, and next steps.
Consultation Format
Consultation sessions are held by video call. In-person engagements are also available by arrangement, with travel costs billed separately.
Selection Advisory and Project Services
Selection Advisory focuses on reviewing your current hiring and performance evaluation approach and providing consultation, research, and recommendations based on the materials you provide.
It does not include creating or substantially redesigning interviews, assessments, performance evaluation tools, or other hiring systems, or conducting statistical analysis or validation studies. For needs that extend beyond review and recommendations, Sift HR also offers Project Services to design, refine, implement, or statistically validate hiring and performance evaluation processes.
